Confined Space Entry Training
Details
There are two types of confined spaces — those that require permits and those that do not. This course is designed to provide students with the tools necessary to enter a confined space and determine if a non-permit space may be entered. This course covers the safety and health hazards associated with confined space entry. Upon completion of the course, students will have a thorough understanding of:
- Definitions of confined space and permit-required confined space.
- Roles and responsibilities of entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors.
- Pre-entry evaluation and entry procedure.
- Atmospheric testing requirements.
- Site security.
- Isolation.
The Confined Space Entry course is in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 regulations.
