Competent Person for Fall Protection

The Competent Person for Fall Protection course is designed to give employees the ability to assess compliance with the OSHA Fall Protection Standard, evaluate installed passive system and fall arrest systems, and develop and implement fall protection plans.

• Proper Donning of Harness
• Using Personal Fall Arrest Systems Safely
• Aerial Lift Safety
• Ladder Safety, types of Ladders and Inspection
• Setting up Ladders
• Ladder Safety Basics
• OSHA Requirements for Ladders in Use
• Ladder Safety Use
• Stairways and Ladders

Upon course completion students will have the ability to assess compliance with the OSHA Fall Protection Standard, evaluate installed passive systems and fall arrest systems, and develop and implement fall protection plans.

This course works in compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926.500 subpart M regulations.
